The Intern returns with some new heat and everyone's much needed coffee. Khary has been keeping busy, touring the U.S. and apparently feverishly recording new music. Only a few months removed from his last project, Intern Aquarium, the New York City based, Rhode Island bred rapper continues to unleash tracks featuring collaborations with fellow artists and friends, and experiments in new forms of wordplay.
On his latest, "Big Trouble," Jamvvis and Lege Kale lend their production talents and a whole room full of friends participate in adding ad-libs. The duo behind the boards rework an oriental flavored sample, liberally throwing hard hitting kicks and body splitting bass all over to create a hyped vibe. Khary matches the wild tempo and lets loose a torrent of bars, all geared towards displaying his superiority over his peers. "Capital One n****as, always worried about what's in your wallet," is simultaneously hard and funny. He stacks lines likes this one after the other, through the three minute track. Check it out above.
