The Eastern Long Island native, Davon King, has released a full EP this month titled, Not For Sale.  Davon King explains the title to his EP.

"Not For Sale to me means that I will never sell my valuable assets for riches or fame. Such as my message, sound, purpose, & who I am in general..Those things are priceless to me.. No amount of money can take the place of those things!"

The rapper teamed up with producer Noco Beats for the project, recording the entire EP in just two studio sessions.

Davon King harness a true New York sound spitting quick over an ethereal production on "We Don't Run" acting as an intro track for the EP, sending the message that they aren't scared of anything. Track two comes through with a more jazzy instrumental feel on the production with King's raw rhymes spitting life lessons on "Let It Play". The certified diss track comes in hot on "How You Feel" and I don't know about you but I feel like busting through someone's windows right now cause I. Am. Fired. Up.

The vibe slows way down on "All She Ever Wanted" – so if you were bashing windows you should come back, re-evaluate your life choices and smoke a blunt. King sings on the hook, "All she ever wanted was 1/2 a million dollars and a real n***a". And I'm like, yeah that sounds about right. "Think Again" touch on the realness of being in the game and dealing with infinite fuccbois – where "Hustle" reps the loyalty of his squad and preaches about the artist riding around smoking blunts. The last track features Bay Area Native Mistah Fab (yee). The track hits hard on the lyrical hardship front in true New York fashion – but features a slow & female sampled beat for a true Bay style with a hook from Mistah Fab top it all off.

Keep an ear out for new music from Davon King within the next couple months.
