At the end of the year, some artists like to sit on their best tracks while others, like Australian duo Indian Summer, prefer to end the year with a massive release. Chevy and Gabe have had quite the year, having their single “Shiner” make it to number one on Hype Machine, touring all over Australia and the United States, and even being named one of MTV’s Top 10 Australian Producers. After quite some time in the studio honing their craft, Indian Summer is ready to drop a myriad of new releases, and this past week they’re back on Sweat it Out! with Late Night EP, which certainly lives up to its club ready name.
They quickly set the tone of “Slideways” with a bouncy beat and some reverbed percussion. Gabe and Chevy build the track nicely with some distorted synths and a hyped vocal sample, culminating in one club ready hit.
