JD Reid puts his spin on Espa's "Swan Song", featuring London rapper Giggs

Remixes are always a bit hit and miss these days, trust me I've had my fair share of not so good ones come through my inbox in recent years, and it's always a good sign if someone flips a track to give a completely different vibe to the original. That's exactly what we've got here, with a remix of Espa's "Swan Song", originally produced by one third of the Flatbush Zombies, Erick Arc Elliot.

This time round, it's talented London based producer JD Reid's turn to give the track his own little touch to it. With some edgy synth chords overlaying nice, rolling drum patterns, the remix gets an ultimately electronic make over, with smooth synth melodies adding a little bit of funk into the mix. This makes for a slick backdrop for Espa's vocal talents to ride alongside, as well as another hard verse from one of the UK's most sought after rappers, Giggs.

You can stream JD Reid's take on "Swan Song" above, and be sure to keep your eyes and ears locked onto EARMILK for all the latest from Reid, Espa and Giggs.
