Edward Newgate has been mesmerizing audiences with his multi genre production style spanning from nu disco to melodic trap, and has now teamed up with Bentellect to create an old school inspired hip hop EP. Right from the beginning you can hear Newgate's ability to fill out the frequency spectrum as we are treated to some vintage warmth from a classic break layered on top of deep kick drums. The Victory EP still oozes with disco inspired production using pumping samples and sunday friendly grooves whilst being pulled into the realm of bedroom hip hop with Bentellects vocals. The EP is out on Yunizon Records which have been sourcing world class music from a huge spectrum of genres for some time now and they have once again released a quality body of work.
