Landis continues to make strides in the electronic community, this time with a progressive house track off one of the industry's biggest labels, Armada. The young producer graced our pages back in December for his work with Crespo on "Funked Up" and then in January for his reworked Robbie Rivera collab, "Young Folks". Today he releases his "Dive" remix on 6K sublabel, a track originally by Hope, Hot Mouth, and Nezzo.
The latter two artists should catch your attention, Hot Mouth being a recognized name for gritty electronic fans and Nezzo for his time with Nom De Strip on "Devil's Barbeque". With such a strong basis for a revision Landis removes much of the grind from the drop, instead emphasizing stuttered horns atop a much bouncier bass beat. Download the track today and make sure to check out the second remix in this release by Husman. You should also be on the lookout for Landis' upcoming track, which we hear has something to do with the famed British hardstylers, Showtek.
