Recent We The Best signee Vado dropped a new single over the weekend with Funkmaster Flex. “Look Me In My Eyes” sees the DJ Khaled affiliated MC move on from his Slime Flu mixtape, which boasted production from Araabmuzik and a Pusha T feature, to call on the services of French Montana, Rick Ross and the returning Scott Storch. The track features on Vado’s upcoming Sinatra EP and the Harlem rapper gets a good return on his guest star investment with a typically lavish Ross verse and fire in the autotuned hook from Montana.
The real heat comes from super producer Scott Storch though, as the tasty beat is reminiscent of The Diplomats’ classic “I Really Mean It”. If “Look Me In My Eyes” is anything to go by, Sinatra will be a big project and we should all look forward to more cuts from the EP surfacing soon.
