New kid on the block HØRRA has been hard at work in the studio, putting together his forthcoming EP slated for release on November 4th. On this debut the 20-year-old Ipswich-based producer teamed up Get Some Records for a five-track EP entitled Masquerades. Today we have the official announcement of the EP, as well as a little taste of what to expect. Masquerades will showcase James Wade, AKA HØRRA’s vast range of styles, from house, hardcore, jungle, garage, grime, and funky; the young producer has something for everyone to enjoy. While Wade ventures into many different sounds, he still stays true to his own unique style as evidenced by the second track off the EP, “Grounded” which we have for your listening pleasure right now.
“Grounded” demonstrates HØRRA’s ability to combine the dark sounds of the underground while pulling from more commercial jungle and bass influences. This track deserves to be listened to on a nice pair of headphones, as HØRRA will take you on a melodic head-trip through his dusky twists and turns.
