Rome Fortune is a part of the new breed of Atlanta rappers gearing up to make some serious headway in the hip hop landscape. Not solely reliant on the club anthems that have made a star out of 2 Chainz, raised far away enough from the street or trap lifestyles of Gucci and Future, and not attempting to reinterpret the classic sounds of their legendary forefathers like OutKast. Instead, Fortune and fellow young emcees are paving their own lane to stardom, which is gradually gaining a strong allegiance within the city and the hip hop community at large.
Today, the young emcee unleashed a jazz inspired track that was produced by Ethereal, entitled "Everything". Like a lot of his previous work, Fortune dons a relaxed and swaggy lyrical style. His verses are separated between attempting to seduce a woman and then telling the listeners about how he was trying to get Rose Marie a.k.a the girl from the first verse. During the entire song, it doesn't sound like he is anxious or nervous about the entire situation. Instead he sounds firmly in control. Ethereal had a real hand in making this persona come to life. Thanks to the drum sample and the beautiful keys, the track has very cool late night vibe to it.
