DMV up-and-comer GoldLink returns with the perfect song to close out the summer. "On&On," originally a Snakehips song, features smooth production from the Kaytranada remix of the original version. Kaytranada's reinterpretation of the song is quite brilliant in its own right—nearly replicating the drum programming of Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy", but with harder kicks laying the groundwork for synths, and smooth female vocals to mingle; yet, GoldLink somehow manages to add what little flair the track was missing. His choppy, off-kilter flow, characterized by his energetic delivery, creates an extremely captivating juxtaposition when cast over such groovy production. GoldLink continues to impress, spouting lines like, "Doc Marten with the Sergio Tacchini shirt / I love it when she wear that sundress and that mini skirt / I like it when she suck my dick and then she call him back / And then he hit it and he hit it and he gettin' burned."
