Experimental pop band Braids have been painting vivid pictures in the minds of listeners internationally since the release of their debut album Native Speaker in 2011. Since then they have been refining their conceptual based music through tightening instrumental cues and in the process allowing singer Raphaelle Standell-Preston's vocals to carry the reigns.
In building hype to their sophomore full-length the Montreal based group have released a mystifying song entitled "Hossak". Throughout "Hossak" airy textures lead into a straightforward experimental beat that gives Raphaelle's voice a borderline trip-hop characteristic.
