It has already been a busy year for Deniz Koyu. Back at the beginning of February the Turkish electronic producer released the progressive track “Halo” with Dirty South, coinciding with the start of his multinational Generation Wild Tour. A month and a half later, Koyu has played over 20 shows with Danny Avila, dBerrie and Mikael Weermets, having traveled across the United States, into Canada and even to Prague. Today he releases his original “Rage”, a track he describes as a follow-up to the infamous “Bong”, which still finds its way into many festival sets. With an unrelenting salvo of progressive house noise, the track finds uniqueness in a decelerating break that reverses to slowly regain full momentum. And there’s no need to worry about the title, as “Rage” has more to do with the party it starts than the feeling it imparts.
