Coultrain – "She's A Hustler" (Prod. Waajeed)

Soul crooner Coultrain (1/2 of the phenomenal duo Hawthorne Headhunters), found time to lend some major vocal support to Platinum Pied Pipers comrade and fellow Midwest native Waajeed. The two linked up to create a lush toe-tapping, head-bobbing and hip-shaking brass-heavy cut that's sure to send some good vibes in all directions. Coultrain's vocals spice up an otherwise funky Waajeed instrumental.

I was approached by Universal UK a few years back about doing an album for TV licensing. They asked me to chop up and recompose library tracks from their archive – sounds like a dream, right?

I wanted to do epic, upbeat tracks that would go well with the cinematic environment they were meant for. Coultrain and I whipped up this track with the legendary Paul Randolph on bass. – Waajeed

Peep the track below and head over to Waajeed's official site to hear and see more from the Detroit producer.
