David Banner's grassroots 2M1 Movement (2 Million $1) has been a hot topic in the blogosphere and music world these past two months. The rapper/producer has been utilizing Twitter and other media outlets to actively promote and garner support for his forthcoming free album Sex, Drug & Video Games. Making good on his promise to provide a steady stream of music, Banner recently released the third single, “Californication” off of Sex, Drug & Video Games, which fittingly features West Coast representatives Snoop Dogg, Game, Nipsey Hussle, Ras Kass and Kree, who lends his falsetto vocals to the song's hook. The David Banner x THX produced track has a distinguishable West Coast feel akin to some of Dr. Dre's best work. "Californication" is the latest in a catalog of rap odes and cautionary tales referencing California. Check out the track below and a short video in which Banner speaks more on Sex, Drug & Video Games and the 2M1 movement.
