After getting some considerable shine at this year's SXSW, it only seemed fitting that we keep the momentum going for Rocky Rivera. Where the lady MC once found herself an "observer" of hip hop via literary channels as a writer and an editor at MTV, she now considers herself a "participant" with several mixtapes and an album to her name. Most recently she released video treatment for her track "GRLZ", a playfully infectious take on the Beastie Boys jam off her POPKILLER MXTP. The mixtape, which features guests like Bambu, Nitty Scott MC and Styliztik Jones, is downloadable below.
