With the slew of instrumental projects Oddisee has dropped over the past couple years, you might have forgotten that he actually raps too, or you might not know who Oddisee is, in which case: he is a rapper/producer on Mellow Music Group and is a part of Washington DC hip-hop trio Diamond District. Over the past year, Oddisee has dropped a number of instrumental projects but has appeared as a featured rapper on a few songs here and there.
Now with formalities out of the way, "Slow Down" is a song both rapped and (you guessed it) produced by Oddisee and is a song found on Mellow Music Group's upcoming compilation album Self Sacrifice which is set to feature artists on the label's roster. Oddisee's solid and consistent flow over the lumbering beat grants listeners high expectations for the project which is set to release 3/27/2012
