New Zealand's Kimbra brings something new to female vocals. Her songs are jazz-influenced, and her voice has a modern feel to it infused with soul. Kimbra's influences stem from an array of musical genres & artists, from Nina Simone to Bjork & Prince. Currently based in Melbourne, Kimbra released her debut full length album Vows at the end of August in 2011. Some of the producers featured on the album are Francois Tetaz (Architecture in Helsinki, Gotye) and M-Phazes (Amerie, Pharoah Monch). Kimbra's unique style has a retro energy mixed with classic jazz. We anticipate seeing her rise in the States sooner rather than later.

Beni is signed by Modular record label (known for artists like The Avalanches, Chromeo, Robyn, Tom Vek, Wolfmother, & the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Beni has put a minimal-house twist on this track.
