At 32, Snoh Aalegra has been beckoning the world to her beautiful R&B music. NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series welcomed Snoh for her debut appearance, as she shined for a 16-minute set.
The Iranian-Swedish songstress is coming off of her 2019 album, Ugh, those feels again. Four of the five songs she performed for the live Tiny Desk audience came from the latest album. She was joined by her band, two background vocalists and a string-quartet.
Tiny Desk has been an intimate space for many powerful performances over the years. It's a corner of the internet for music lovers to really enjoy bite-sized concerts to enjoy online.
Snoh wowed the Washington D.C. office with live renditions of hits like "I Want You Around", "Whoa", and "Find Someone Like You". The R&B rising star just last week released a remix of "Whoa" featuring Grammy-award winning artist and producer, Pharrell Williams.
She has toured the United States once already and is headed back on tour this coming March. She'll be supported by California singer, Quin.
