London is getting a new venue Printworks in 2017. Located in an old printing facility in Canada Water, South East London, weekly all-day events kick off on Saturday, February 4th.
First names that will take control in the 2,500 capacity Press Halls includes Motor City Drum Ensemble, The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, Chris Liebling and Luciano. Some serious contenders to make this venue open with a boom.
Printworks is a new project from London Warehouse Events who have hosted a multitude of events at the Tobacco Dock venue across the river. Aside from LWE running music showcases, the multipurpose building will transform for different events.
Things are looking up for London's nightlife, with new spaces announced and Fabric getting its license back last week. Speaking about Printworks, newly appointed London Night Czar Amy Lamé described it as “a venue unlike any other in the capital.” Adding because of the Night Tube, clubbers won't have to "worry about getting home from this part of the city.”
