Q-Tip has announced that a new album from A Tribe Called Quest is on it's way. The album is currently untitled, but we know there will guest appearances from Consequence and Busta Rhymes. This will be Tribe's last album. Q-Tip shared a handwritten note on social media detailing how the creation of the album came about.
Sadly, Phife Dawg passed away in March before the album was completed. “He left us with the blue print of what we had to do,” Q-Tip explained in is note. Phife Dawg recently had a street in Queens named after him. We should be learning more about the album in the coming weeks. You can read Q-Tip's note in full here.
