While everyone prepares to rage ferociously in their animal wear in that section of warehouses that people in the NYC party scene just know at this weekend's BangOn Creatures Of The Night and, we stumbled upon another event in the same area: So Dark It's Lite. See it as the chill-out tent to BangOn's dance floor and is presented by underground reps ALL BLAK Records, Silence Agency, Bless PR, special guest Total Fitness and Toronto-based fashion label sponsors Daily News Project. It's the launch of the concepts of Bless PR and Silence Agency into the diverse NYC electronic music scene and a night of both techno and tech-house, including producer Matias Busato who we recently covered on our site. And instead of just "bringing Toronto to NYC," Toronto is bringing a local artist out as the featured guest. The best part? It's free (although you can donate if you feel inspired), which plays to the nature of music discovery that we've always been fans of here.
