Input at Output: Symbols Label Night with Kastle & Special Guest + Exclusive Mix

This Thursday Brooklyn’s Output will host the entire Symbols Recordings Family for a night of good must and good vibes. If you aren’t familiar with Output, let me give you a rundown. Output is open to anyone, but is not for everyone. Output welcomes individuals who value the communal experience of music over cameras and bottle service. On September 12th label owner Kastle will bring his future-forward sounds to Input, a night crafted by the venue and the good people over at Mean Red. Kastle will take over the decks alongside some special guests including, Druid Cloak, Sweater Beats, JAW JAM and Lindsay Lowend. On this night the label has one goal in mind: to present a full immersion into the ethos of Symbols. Ultimately meaning, "the feeling is the genre." To get a little taste of that feeling the San Fran head honcho crafted an extra special mix for the showcase which includes track premieres from Druid Cloak, Sweater Beats, and Kastle himself from their releases coming out in October.

Over the past year, Symbols has been raising the bar with their forceful and futuristic sounds. July saw Jaw Jam’s No Sleep EP make waves with his virulent beat-driven house, while this month’s debut EP Wind Fish from hot new act Lindsay Lowend, stirred up quite the buzz for it’s mix of bass, jazz fusion and Super Nintendo. Druid Cloak presented us with the debut release The Grove last year and is gearing up to drop a new EP this October and Sweater Beats gave us a jam packed mini mix for HW&W back in July. Symbol’s is also prepping to drop their highly anticipated compilation due out in the fall. With a stacked lineup Symbols Label Night is one not to sit out on. You can purchase your tickets here and in meantime check out our favorite mixes and compilations by each artist below.
