Stereocool is riding first-class on the funk and pop train. He follows up his track "Simple" with a hot and groovy remix of Auriènt's "Hip.Girl." To get your gears going, he launches the track with an incoherent build-up with elements slowly building and falling into place. Tasty kicks frequent the tune with the accompaniment of a medley of synths. The song doesn't change too much throughout its duration, but it doesn't need to. Stereocool himself is in my opinion a hidden gem in the EDM world who should get more recognition than he currently has. Auriènt is no push-over either, though his work tends to be more experimental. Nevertheless, "Hip.Girl" (Stereocool 'Gotcha' Remix) is a wonderful track that is more than suitable for any club or party looking for something fresh and exciting.
Better catch that midnight train with them.
