LA-based singer, DJ and multi-hyphenate Lyric Jones released "Better Now", her first new single in four years, on June 10th, 2024. A soulful, four-on-the-floor foray into the realm of deep house, the introspective track reintroduces Lyric to listeners and showcases her versatility as an artist. With synth-infused elements of electro/ soul, Better Now (Remixes) finds her exploring themes of personal growth and resilience in the face of hardship. Her vocals are heartfelt, and her rhymes flow sleekly, as she delivers a message of self-empowerment and healing. Now, Lyric shares the original OP Miller-produced record along with five new remixes– by Ian Wallace, Zo! & Tall Black Guy, XL Middleton, and Soul Clap, respectively- in the form of an EP.
