Australian alt-pop singer-songwriter/producer Gwyn captures the rebellious spirit of 2000s teen movies on unapologetic feminist anthem “USE,” which offers up a seamless blend of nostalgia and bold rage.

Led by her soaring vocals that swoop over lush guitars and edgy synths, the track draws inspiration from the idea of exploiting relationships for professional gain as she introspects on what it really means to be a feminist.

Speaking of the track, she says, This song is my take on feminism. It all started with someone I know in real life who's using guys to get ahead at work and grow her network. I mean, that's not really what feminism is about, right? It's all about women being just as capable as men. Then, I found out she reached out to my film crew and totally ripped off my music video. This got me thinking about how modern our society really is and what being a feminist really means.”

With a personal touch that feels equally relatable, the track which is a glimpse of her upcoming mixtape, 130K across the highway,is rooted in Gwyn’s powerhouse blend of electronic, pop, and rock as she sets herself up as an act to keep on your radar.
