Rising up to the top fast is EVALINA, with her motivating new single "Side Effects". After collaborating with Alfie Cridland & Paul Kay on their new single "Last Day in Paradise", which is building towards a huge commercial success, EVALINA went on to write her new pop-dance summer anthem ‘Side Effects’.
EVALINA says, “After years of working on my solo music I am incredibly excited to finally be releasing my debut single ‘Side Effects’! This song is very special to me and really feels like the beginning of a new era for me as a solo artist and it felt like an appropriate song to debut with, having been the first song on my set list at each show when I went on tour last year."
"Side Effects", produced by Jo:Ker, features crystal-clear production, motivating rhythms and grooving synth lines from start to finish. The track presents a new solo version of Evalina that audiences have yet to experience. It showcases a new storytelling element to her writing in dance music, and is one of her most personal songs yet.
"The response so far has been amazing! I’m so happy that there’s now a little piece of my heart out in the world and I hope people will be able to relate to my lyrics and love the song as much as I do!"
You can catch Evalina perform her acoustic set at Sofar Sounds on the 21st of July.
"Side Effects" is out now via Some Other Records.
