Fast-rising Nigerian afrobeats artist and songwriter Peruzzi made his bones writing for various acts including superstar Davido whom he will perform alongside at the prestigious O2 Arena. The singer however holds his own as he drops the visuals for his single "Ready," an upbeat summer jam that serves as the precursor to his forthcoming 4th studio project. Backed by a punchy dancehall-infused backdrop, Peruzzi croons his way to victory with his easy-to-follow lyrics and catchy melodies, He is also joined by up-and-coming Nigerian rapper AcebergTM who adds his own touch with a solid verse that cements the song as a soon to be a summer hit. The record is written and composed by Peruzzi himself with the aid of young Nigerian producer Yung Willis.
The visual taps into the summer sensibilities of the song and take viewers to an exotic spot where Peruzzi is surrounded by a bevy of beautiful ladies with splendor swirling around him. The visuals also employ a wide range of cut scenes and engaging performance shots of Peruzzi and AcebergTM with some minimal effects to bring it home.
Peruzzi got his leg in the industry in 2017 when he dropped "For Your Pocket" which led to signing with Davido's DMV imprint. Known for his pen game, he has written songs such as "FIA" for Davido and "Amaka" for Nigerian music legend Tuface, to mention a few.
