Husband and wife duo Moxi craft moody synth-infused electronic indie pop anthems. Composed of Anna Toy on vocals and Andy Toy on keys, Moxi is known for their dynamic live shows and adventurous yet soulful indietronica releases. Now they have unleashed a new soaring banger called "Back to Me".
In "Back to Me", the band contemplates the healing that can come from inner silence. Lead singer Anna Toy began delving more into meditation, and as a result achieved a blissful state where she was her best self. She confides, "A few years ago I started getting really into meditation. It helped so much with my anxiety and depression as well as with my overall outlook on life and the world. I wanted to write a song that embodied how I feel when I’m in a meditative state. The highest version of me, where I’m filled with light, connected to the earth and space simultaneously. The version of me that fully embraces my uniqueness, embraces my primal creativity, and knows her power."
Featuring soulful and soaring melodies that culminate into an epic and triumphant chorus, "Back to Me" is a feel-good electronic-pop song of achieving transcendence.
