Chill…
Today's delivery is brought to you by Panda Bear. It should be obvious that I would be a fan of Psychedelia sound considering this chill feature I curate. But, I never imagined just how good the latest album from Panda Bear would be. He released the album, Tomboy, in the middle of last year and it quickly found its way on many people's shortlists for albums of the year. But, at the same time, the album is mostly filled with washed out angelic vocals and droning synth tunes which isn't for everybody. I'm a true believer in that there's always a time and place for certain styles of music and you just have to know when and where to use particular sounds. This type of music is best to be used when you want to stop thinking and just want zone out.
The track I'm bringing to you today is called "Afterburner" and its actually one of the faster paced tracks of the entire album yet the tribal rhythm is still able to keep things mellow enough. As Panda Bear pierces through your subconscious, with the ethereal vocals; there's a high probability of "zoning out". Just go with the flow. Check out the track and chill…
