Montazona is the music of multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer and all around creative Marius Britt. With "Slow Your Roll", Montazona pens a relatable song all about the art of overreacting. When one is in an argument with someone they love and care for, the world can seem like its falling apart and with his new song Montazona reminds listeners to take a step back, relax and remember everything will be ok. He sings, "We had a fight last night / We're in limbo / Left me waiting / Like a dog at the front door / Let's slow down / Slow your roll," showing this narrative. Musically, Montazona features melodic guitars, hypnotic synths and immersive rhythms. "Slow Your Roll" is danceable and melancholic, catchy and crushing all at the same time. Sonically expansive, the track features layered instrumentation with bright guitar riffs, groove-inducing bass and elevated harmonies.
