TOKIMONSTA announces new album with release of "Fried for the Night" featuring EarthGang [Video]

TOKiMONSTA is preparing to drop her fourth full-length album Oasis Nocturno, on the 20th of March but in the meantime, she shares the video for the bass-heavy, psychedelic single  "Fried For The Night" featuring EarthGang. The Atlanta hip-hop duo feel right at home over the otherworldly instrumental that captures that have left our minds fried and turnt all the way up.

For the visuals, TOKiMONSTA recruits director Romain Laurent who crafts a surreal technicolor landscape depicting TOKiMONSTA and EarthGang experiencing a psychedelic trip at a house party in the hills. The trippy visual effects take the viewer deeper into the rabbit hole to the fantasy type aesthetics and costumes. Similar to a few other EarthGang videos, "Fried for the Night" provides a vibrant visual stimulation that allows the fast-paced lyrical prowess of EarthGang to wrap themselves around the neocortex of your brain and warp your imagination. The multi-layered production from TOKiMONSTA is just pure bliss. The Grammy-nominated producer shared in a statement, “Everyone has a moment where they feel fried and burnt, but what about those moments you feel fried and turnt? EarthGang brought their special magic to the studio and we made something otherworldly. This song is dedicated to those psychedelic moments where our reality opens up a new point of view.”

"Fried For The Night" follows the December 2019 release of ‘Love That Never’, a lo-fi track that was accompanied by a pastel-hued animated visual by Sydney-based studio Babekühl (Free Nationals, Zeds Dead, Havana Brown, etc).
