Dream pop duo The Know are known for constructing stunning wistful songs rooted in raw authenticity. They formed in 2018 when Daniel Knowles and wife Jennifer Farmer chose not to go home for the holidays, but instead stay in Los Angeles and build beautiful music together. Following their debut release "143", that garnered critical acclaim, The Know returns with “Hold Me Like You Know Me”. Featuring delicate dreamy vocals and twinkling soundscapes, the poignant track narrates feelings of isolation and loneliness. Farmer confides, "this is a very personal song. It describes a feeling of intense loneliness and isolation which I’ve dealt with a lot this past year. Wanting to be seen, felt, loved and adored. Although it’s written from a romantic perspective, I think this feeling is also true of friendships, family, etc. Especially in this modern day and age, where everyone is so detached and in their own worlds, it’s hard to feel connected on any kind of genuine level. You can be in a room full of people and still feel lonely”.
