Founded by spanish DJ and Producer Coyu, Barcelona based record label Suara has welcomed releases from a host of talent across the house and techno spectrum. From EPs courtesy of Belgian techno queen Charlotte De Witte, Elrow resident Bastian Bux and Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz to remixes from Patrick Topping and Matrixxman – Suara are a label at the forefront of the electronic scene.
With prior releases on Drumcode, Figure and Octopus, Mikael Jonasson is techno through and through – having shared stages with the likes of Adam Beyer and Len Faki, and performing at the infamous Berghain. The Kosmos EP on Suara is Mikael's latest offering, tapping up Italian DJ and Producer Luca Agnelli for the remix duties. Providing a hefty rework for the track "Mosaic", Luca transforms an already heavy hitting techno track into something even bigger. Fizzing acid elements paired with eerie sounding synth provide for a cinematic soundtrack – before the track explodes into heavy, all consuming drums and a seemingly never ending techno frenzy.
