Still keeping the tradition intact, the duo of Tragedy Khadafi & BP officially released their full-length collaborative project "Immortal Titans," and also included the visual for the title track to boot.
The 14-track album takes the listener back to the era where vivid lyrics and hard-hitting gritty backdrops were the main focus. There is absolutely nothing shiny or syrupy on this project as Tragedy crafts vivid stories while dropping gems after gem over the dark, cinematic backdrop provided by BP. For the most part Tragedy holds his own, but is benevolent enough to recruit a handful of ill spitters on backup. Nature appears on the jarring "F#<%' How They Feel," Apathy on "Mastermind," the trio of Hus Kingpin, SmooVth, Rosewood on "Renoir Repertoire," while the highly underrated emcee Ali Vegas provides just the chorus on the sombre "World Is Mine."
The visual for "Immortal Titans" is directed by filmmaker and VFX artist Mike Hanratty of ScientificLens who creates an ethereal styled visual blending the street aesthetics of Tragedy Khadafi and a fantasy world into a larger-than-life experience, while still retaining the hip-hop fundamentals.
