For US listeners, LUUDE's latest, "Sink or Swim" opens with a voice that will sound familiar but will just escape recognition by most. UK fans, however, will immediately identify Example's unique voice.
Georgi Kay, of Feenixpawl & Axwell's "In My Mind" fame, follows Example's bassy opening verse as a light and airy vocal foil. Two years in the making, LUUDE keeps the sound interesting using a banjo guitar atop a wall of synth production style that comes in waves. The sink or swim theme plays out audibly and makes for a smart and catchy tune.
Over the past few months LUUDE has hit the tour circuit hard stopping in Australia, New Zealand, India, and China with US and European tour announcements coming soon. While on tour he's linked with other notable artists and is working on more music slated for release this year.
