2017 was a mammoth year for Belgian techno queen Charlotte de Witte. Awakenings, Junction 2 festival, Tomorrowland and Printworks were just a handful of performances to add to her ever growing list of performances, as well as EP's on Mary Go Wild and NovaMute. She's come a long way since her beginnings playing in youth clubs in her home town of Ghent, now providing monster techno sets to crowds in esteemed venues like Watergate in Berlin and Ibiza's DC-10.

Suara, the Barcelona based label founded by Coyu in 2008, has seen countless releases from a seemingly never ending talent pool of DJs and producers – Andres Campo, Bontan, Camelphat, Latmun, Oxia and Patrick Topping are just some of the names you'll find in the Suara back catalogue. Ready for a March release, Charlotte is next up to join the impressive roster with her new EP, 'Heart of Mine'. A three track EP consisting of two originals and a remix from Lewis Fautzi – the portugese producer with tracks on Len Faki's Figure and Pole Group.

The title track 'Heart Of Mine' is a huge opener. Charlotte's dark and captivating style combines heavy drums, cutting hi hats and just the right amount of eerie vocal to package this up into a hard, intense track designed to take over the club and hold the dancers in a moment. Followed on by 'This', a track which maintains the captivating and hypnotic style Charlotte has crafted, more drums and hi hats pull together with a vocal repetition of the title – a touch that pulls you further into the track. The remix of 'This' from Lewis Fautzi, the third track on the EP, brings the pace up even faster and provides another level of density and darkness to the already intense original.

Tracklist: 1. Heart Of Mine (Original Mix) 2. This (Original Mix) 3. This (Lewis Fautzi Remix)

Charlotte de Witte's 'Heart of Mine' EP is available via Suara on 5th March 2018.
