Sweden’s DNKL first popped on the scene and turned heads with their debut Wolfhour EP released last year. After taking some time to work in the studio, the trio returns with a new single called “Otherside.” Tweaked for their live performance, the track became a fan favorite. It certainly shows the band growing into their “noir-pop” sound. I think it’s their strongest track to date.
Amidst the swirling vocal melodies and lush synths, DNKL constructs this rich and flowing electronic soundscape that you can still dance to.
