The release of Jon Waltz's debut EP Alyss is right around the corner. To build up the hype for the upcoming release, the Memphis rapper has dropped the final single off the tape, "College Girl".
Waltz navigates the perky soundscape, which is produced by J5 and Nova, extraordinarily as he flows with a fervor as he speaks on his "College Girl". The track falls in the same vein as his last track, "Victoria," which features Allan Kingdom, as he raps about his mixed emotions towards a girl who both causes him distress and happiness. Again, the 19-year-old artist shows off his ability to quickly transition from one cadence to the next, a ability that keeps the listener on their toes because it is exceeding hard to foresee where the young artist is going next in the tracks progression. It is this quality that makes Jon Waltz such an edgy and relevant artist.
"College Girl" is a track that every college student can relate as well as vibe to. With that said, soothe your college girl problems by taking a listen to Waltz's track below.
