Psychedelic indie composer, guitarist, and record producer Romi Peles unveils new single “Castle In The Sky," from upcoming album Break Up Album. A vulnerable anthem that taps into loss while still allowing notes of hope to sneak through, the track is a reflection of the deeply personal yet sonically expansive style of the album.
Speaking of the track, Peles says, "This is maybe my favorite song on the album. For me, half of it is about the pain of losing my cousin, who passed away too young, and half of it is about the end of the world and losing myself. I wrote this song in 2020 while going through a deep depression. It’s also about knowing there’s something waiting out there for you, and that you will make it through.”
Marking a shift from instrumental compositions to raw, vocal-driven songwriting, the project is set to be a showcase of Peles’ evolving artistry leading us through moments of loss, pain and grief, weaving emotive yet psychedelic soundscapes with a dose of personal transformation.
