Hailing from Helsinki's underground scene, Drug Store Raid is a quintet that has been turning heads since 2021 with their electrifying live shows and genre-blending sound. Their music spans punk, jazz-funk, new-wave, indie-dance, and more, drawing a growing cult following.

Their upcoming single, "Vi Är Finnjävlar" ("we are Finnbastards"), embodies their gritty, satirical style. This post-punk track delves into the realities of modern Finnish life, touching on themes of youth anxiety and isolation. It's a defiant anthem that resonates with a generation grappling with identity.

"Vi Är Finnjävlar" is the first release from their upcoming album, Background Music For Family Arguments, out November 15, 2024, via Kieku Records. The album draws inspiration from icons like Talking Heads and Madonna, blending nostalgia with innovation. Themes range from mental health to the quirks of fashion, all delivered with humor and rebellion.

To celebrate the release, Drug Store Raid will perform at Semifinal in Helsinki on November 28, 2024. With their explosive energy, this show promises to be unforgettable, and Drug Store Raid is a band pushing boundaries, poised to make a lasting impact.
