GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Fousheé shares a new single, “100 bux,” along with visuals complimenting the song's essence. The track marks the third release from her upcoming album Pointy Heights, which will be released on September 13th via RCA Records. Her new single, "100 bux," is a captivating fusion of alt-pop and ska influences that incorporates faint vocals with a grungy baseline that Fousheé skillfully weaves into Musical Youth’s iconic track “Pass the Dutchie,” creating a unique and exciting musical experience.
The LP title, 'Pointy Heights, 'is a poignant nod to the land her grandfather purchased in Jamaica, a place where her family could build homes and live. With 'Pointy Heights, 'Fousheé explores her musical boundaries and delves into her personal history, creating a deeply emotional and resonant album. Her upcoming album is a complete 180 direction by exploring an entirely new sound with crackling bass lines, low guitar hymns, and sharp drum sounds as an amalgamation featuring in-depth songwriting by Fousheé.
