*July 25th –Rapper Rory Allen Philip Ferreira has been granted legal custody over his child in an ongoing dispute with ex-partner Chloe Stingley.

A family court in Tennessee dismissed the case and ruled in Ferreira's favor due to Stingley being unable to provide adequate materials of evidence or witnesses. In a BetterWorld post, posted on July 4th, 2024, Stingley accused Ferreira of domestic abuse, as well as sexual and physical abuse towards two of their shared children.

In an Instagram post, posted on July 6th, 2024, Ferreira detailed the timeline of his history with Stingley while while claiming the accusations were false. This included dates of when their partnership ended when he and his current partner allowed her to live in their home as co-parents, as well as his personal contributions in protecting Stingley from a previous, violent partner.

The transcript of the post can be found on a thread provided by a user on Reddit.

Following the events of the trial, the court granted Ferreira sole custody of his shared child with Stingley and a restraining order from Stingley. The news came from a recent Instagram post from Ferreria.

Ferreira writes "this is the only job I have had in my adult life and I would like to get back to it now. throughout this process, my family and friends have held me down and i am the image if gratitude to them. my heart is with real victims and i pray for the sick mind that would lie about anything of this magnitude. peace."

July 5th -Scallops Hotel, Milo, and R.A.P Ferreira are multiple monikers of one rapper Rory Allen Philip Ferreira, who's facing allegations of domestic as well as sexual abuse by his former partner, Chloe (Mekah) Stingley.

News of the allegations broke on social media this past Thursday, July 4th, after Stingley posted a link for her case on a fundraising platform, BetterWorld on her Facebook account. In her post on the fundraising website, Stingley is requesting assistance covering the needs of a retainer fee for an attorney specializing in Domestic Violence as well as for travel expenses for a domestic hearing in Nashville later this July.

Stingley and Ferreira were married back in 2016, with the birth of their first child later that year. The two separated in 2021. since then, Stingley claims that Ferreira "has committed multiple acts of violence against me and all of my children."

"I share a daughter, Miel Stingley-Ferreira, with Rory Ferreira who has committed multiple acts of violence against me and all of my children. Rory Ferreira physically assaulted my 7 year old at his record store, Soulfolks Records, used a deadly weapon against him and also sexually assaulted me. We lived in Nashville for a few months and fled in November of 2023 because of fear of bodily harm and death."

The entire description of Stingley's history with Ferriera can be found in her campaign post on BetterWorld.

According to an investigative article from HipHopDX, Stingley mentions that "she has 'a sworn affidavit with 42 items of material evidence ready to go for [her] protection order hearing against Mr. Ferreira on July 23rd, 2024.”
