Winnipeg beatboxer, vocalist, and producer Beatox (a.k.a. Adam Fainman) is an accomplished beatboxer and musician born with the innate talent for making any type of sound with his mouth. With two full-length albums under his belt and a third on the way, Beatox delivers the lead single "Learning How to Live" alongside the AI-generated visuals.
The funk-infused track is punctuated by lush bass lines, smooth beatboxing and soulful textures- underpinned by his laidback flow and insightful bars that dwell on the concept of seizing the day, after a season of gloom. Inspired by the aftermath of the pandemic- when people slowly started going outside and the joys of being free once again, Beatox reminds us of the basic human need to find meaning and purpose in the little things that fulfil us.
The accompanying self-produced visuals employ AI generative techniques to create an engaging and descriptive video that encapsulates the core theme of the song.
“Learning How to Live" will appear on his upcoming album, Been a Long Time, set for release on June 7 on Beatox’s own label and production company, Moonlite Media.
Interested in the creative possibilities of new technologies – from his partnership with Vochlea, a voice-to-live-MIDI controller for creating beats, to his exploration of AI for crafting visual animations to his songs – his music is continually inspired and shaped by emerging tools. Beatox is currently developing an AI-powered mobile app for video creation. As the founder of Moonlite Media, his video work that integrates AI technology has received millions of views on TikTok and YouTube.
