Staten Island artist Jxne has just shared his latest emotive single. Entitled "Utah", the song is released via Sound Factory Records and is the first single of the year from this riser.
With "Utah" Jxne creates a track all about the difficult feelings and emotions that arise when one you care about moves away. Sadness, loneliness, regret and yearning are all experienced and "Utah" brilliantly depicts this emotional upheaval. Lyrics including, "Does it make you feel regretful / Over things that you said / What's it like now that I'm gone," show that Jxne is questioning his ex over the decision. Musically, "Utah" is an intoxicating, genre-defying single filled with Jxne's irreplaceable vocal tone. Goosebump-worthy melodies over lush acoustic guitars and delicate rhythms create the perfect moody musical escape.
Jxne is a 20 year old artist who began creating music in high school when he would freestyle with his friends and experiment with various genres including hip hop. Finding an audience with his insane vocals that garner comparison to artists including The Weeknd and Post Malone, Jxne began creating more indie leaning pop. The result is enjoyable and groundbreaking at the same time. With more music to come, we can't wait to hear what is next from this innovator.
