Afropop superstar Joeboy has been at the forefront of the Afrobeats scene since he dropped his debut EP Love & Light, in 2019 via Mr. Eazi's global independent label emPawa Africa. He recently put out his latest EP BODY, SOUL & SPIRIT , and now returns with the visual for the song "24/7", a standout track from the 5-track body of work. The track sees Joeboy reflecting on his journey and realizing that most of his worries are inconsequential in the grand tapestry of life and he has to look at the bigger picture. Over the rich guitar-driven soundscape, Joeboy adopts the spirit of celebration as he proceeds to savour every moment of this thing called life.
The accompanying visual is playful and colourful with engaging shots, and somewhat disjointed set pieces but overall engaging. The use of moody lighting and fast-cut scenes also taps into the 24/7 theme of the song.
