With its captivating vocals, emotive piano, and a relatable narrative that demands to be shared, breakk.away will capture your attention. Their latest single, "I'll See You When The Night Comes," is a mesmerizing track that breaks boundaries right from the very first note.

The group who had originally met in school, formed such a strong bond that they now collaborate internationally from Mexico, France and Canada. "I'll See You When The Night Comes," delves into deeply personal territory for the band, revolving around a universal human struggle. It exudes palpable emotions and envelops listeners in ethereal soundscapes, creating an epic musical experience.

"I'll See You When The Night Comes," revolves around addiction, specifically to negative and melancholic thoughts that haunt one's mind in the darkness of night. The perspective is that of someone who has endured suffering and pain, yet has become so accustomed to it that they find a strange sense of security and comfort within their torment, leading to an addiction to their own suffering. The track draws from a real-life experience of one of the band members, making it deeply personal and evocative.

The exquisite vocals by Jessica Li add a hauntingly beautiful element to the song, exuding a breathy vulnerability that tugs at the heartstrings, akin to the emotive quality of Joy Division's music. While the instrumental alone stands strong, her presence elevates the track to new heights, resulting in a true triumph for the group.

Jessica Li shares her sentiments on the collaborative process, expressing that "I'll See You When the Night Comes" is the first song where their individual styles melded together into something greater than the sum of its parts—an achievement they couldn't have accomplished individually.

It's evident that this song marks a significant turning point for the band, as it feels both fresh and polished. The track stands confidently on its own, yet it leaves me yearning for more. The beauty and tragedy in the song intertwine effortlessly, delivering a powerful experience that balances raw intensity with ambitious mellowness, evoking a hopeful outlook on the future—whatever it may bring.
