The Next Movementm, trio of J.J. Flueck, Sam Siegenthaler and P Kaeser, are seasoned musicians who have been rocking shows for more than a decade and had first caught our ears with their song "Let It Go" some years ago. Their latest release "Never Coming Down" is a rousing funk-soul jam that will get you up out of your seats. From the steady drum grooves, slick guitar plucks and dynamic arrangement made up of ebb and flow and syncopated fills and chord changes. Drummer/lead singer J.J. Flueck once again takes charge with his smooth vocals and stylish melodic compositions that show that he is a true student of funk.
"Never Coming Down" is also accompanied by a performance visual that captures the trio in the studio enjoying what they do best.
"Never Coming Down" comes from The Next Movement’s third album which had them travelling far, gaining new fans from the Black Sea Jazz Festival to Jazztage Leverkusen (with TV coverage) and in many clubs. The album shows the trio in top form and with a huge display of musical skills, yet always with humour and coolness. Quickly growing their small business, they self-released a lot of material, played Tours and reinvented themselves to bring the spirit of the funk into the future: The glorious return of the funk!
