James Crowley's latest EP, Vapour Trails, is an enchanting body of work that showcases his talent as a singer-songwriter. The layered guitar melodies and Crowley's emotive vocals create an immersive and captivating experience for listeners. The EP includes tracks such as "Kerosene," which explores the highs and lows of a relationship, and a highlight "By You," which takes listeners on an intimate journey towards happiness and self-discovery. There's subtle hints of indie, folk and layers of electronica throughout the project as the talented London-based songwriter pushes the boundaries of his sound.

The fact that James Crowley has successfully sold out his headline show on May 3rd at Paper Dress Vintage is a testament to the EP's quality and the anticipation surrounding his work. Crowley cites influences such as Julia Jacklin, Laura Marling, Bon Iver, Alt-J, Marika Hackman, and Nick Drake, and his sonic and lyrical maturity on Vapour Trails reflects this. It's clear that bigger things are in store for the London-based artist.

James tells us about his EP, “Writing Vapour Trails was a way of trying to understand what I'm leaving behind in the world. We are constantly making artifacts of what it means to be human, from the relationships we form to the lasting memories and impressions we make on the people around us. I sifted through these artifacts: fragments, memories and conversations to get to know myself better and to get closer to the version of myself that other people see. And I know now the only answer is to keep feeling and keep making.”
