Dinnertable bring us the infectious "Again Again"

Stockholm indie-electronic duo Dinnertable have just released their new single "Again Again", following up their debut EP 7. Having traction from the 2021 EP, "Again Again" brings jaunty synth riffs to lo-fi indie pop sensibilities and driving basslines. Jangly and refreshingly summery for the colder months, Dinnertable don't shy away from blending genres for infectious consequences.

A toe-tapping track, the duo also invite the listener to look within, with the band sharing: "Again Again is about not controlling your impulses, for good and for bad. It's about trying to become a "better self" but also a more boring self. But then you get these impulses again, and you do these wrongs again and kinda like it. And so, you do it again, and again…”

Bold instrumentation pokes through strategically, and the song's creation was also slightly unorthodox. They elaborate:

"At a dinner party at Emil's place, we started jamming and came up the riffs and recorded a demo. And after a couple of weeks we met in the studio, listening to demos and sampled that demo into a new song. So basically we made a remix of ourselves and that is Again Again."

Euphoric yet thoughtful, the band cite themselves as “music for cocktail parties as well as breakups” and "Again Again" is a prime example.
