Emerging musician Pook Hustle delivers catchy offering “C.R.E.A.M.” featuring singer/comedian Angela Star. Led by gentle pianos and groovy drums beneath soaring vocals, the R&B and pop-laden track with its addictive hook, showcases his trademark infectious sound.
With creative, free-flowing writing to carry it forward, the track takes us on an immersive journey at a strip club. Speaking of the inspiration behind the production, he said, “Growing up I was a huge fan of Daft Punk so electronic/dance infused music has always been a part of my inspiration. Furthermore, in 2013 I was entering my freshman year of college and during my first basketball season I heard “Acid Rap” for the first time & was greatly inspired by the Chicago “juke” sound.”
Having had to his leave his dream of playing basketball behind, music became Pook Hustle’s solace before he honed into a skill and passion that now has him taking off as a rising star, with plenty of potential yet to be tapped.
